Biography

William Nihill

William has been involved in art his entire life. His adult artwork has ranged from seascapes and landscapes, particularly New England scenes, to portraits of homes and murals.

William has studied at Mass College of Art in Boston, and is a member of the Duxbury Art Association, often contributing to the yearly juried shows. He has been represented by the Kyle Studio Gallery in Falmouth, MA as well as the Arnold Art Gallery in Newport, RI.

Currently William sells through Outer Cape Auctions in Provincetown, MA and largely through private commissions. Oils are the artist's choice for medium, while using acrylics on the murals.

Through his artwork, William tries to inspire, relax, and captivate the viewer, focusing on the everyday surroundings, transforming them into something that will introduce the beholder to a greater appreciation for the complexities of nature and life.
